The Eco-Social Stewardship Network is founded upon 7 interconnected Principles and Practices through which ethical values are translated into the structures and habits of evolved social, economic and ecologically principled societies. These stewardship practices begin with how we nourish the body, cultivate personal discipline and purpose, and develop the capacity to act with integrity.
Eco-Social Practices also extend into how we form and sustain friendships, practise liberated relating, gather around shared purpose, and resolve differences constructively; and develop further into the ways we steward shared resources, organise collaborative associations, establish co-living arrangements, and create right livelihood enterprises.
Together, these practices provide a coherent foundation for cultivating societies in which healthful nourishment, mutual care, shared stewardship, material security, meaningful contribution, and respect for animals and the natural systems that sustain us, are expressed through the ways society is organised and sustained.
Evolved Living Nutrition establishes the principles and practices of health, ethical nourishment, and ecological stewardship through a cruelty-free, living foods diet and active purposeful lifestyle.
Guided by the principles of “Eat from the Living Trees” and “Honouring for the Right to Life and Liberty of All Creatures Great and Small”, Stewards cultivate habits that strengthen health, vitality and longevity, while protecting animals and preserving the ecosystems upon which all life depends.
Personal Stewardship establishes the practices through which self-knowledge becomes purposeful direction, personal discipline becomes capability, and individual development becomes meaningful contribution.
Through alignment, mission, visionary stewardship, gratitude, active meditation, and continual personal progression, stewards develop the character, resilience, and practical wisdom required to become effective agents of cultivating social harmony within and beyond eco-social stewardship cultures.
Association is social nourishment which is as essential to the health and wellbeing of both individuals and societies as a whole, as is actual food.
Lasting stewardship is nurtured through friendship, cooperation and a shared commitment to building a healthier, just and sustainable world together. While personal integrity forms the character of the steward, association forms the fellowship through which that character finds encouragement, support and meaningful expression.
The three core practice pillars of Liberated Relational Literacy, Life-force Nourishment and Relational Stewardship combine to establish the principles of emotional, embodied and psychological nourishment through evolved relational expression practices.
By cultivating radical honesty, mutual care and hands-on pleasure healing, those moving toward “Deep Union”, practice giving and receiving the forms of relational nourishment that strengthen emotional and physical wellbeing, healthy supportive relationships, and psychological growth.
Commons Stewardship establishes the constitutional principles and practices that shape the design, governance, and everyday functioning of Collaborative Unions.
Through living simply, cleanliness of mind, body and environment, conservation, making, contribution, wealth-in-common, and collaborative governance, stewards create communities where resources are shared rather than duplicated, contribution is valued over consumption and private accumulation, and the SHARE Economy provides the foundations for mutual support and sustainable material security.
Collaborative Union is the practice of Deep Union – Liberated Relating that creates the conditions for safe, satisfying supportive co-living. Stewards develop the social harmony, communication and relational trust required to live cooperatively, including honest conflict resolution, shared decision-making, collaborative provisioning and intentional reciprocity.
Through daily communal meals, resource sharing, recognising the value of relational wealth, collective celebration and shared stewardship of place, co-living becomes a practical expression of the Relational Commons.
Right Livelihood establishes the principles and practices of collaborative eco-social production and distribution enterprise. Through SHARE Economy worker owned and operated cooperatives, ethical production, shared stewardship, and purposeful contribution, Collaborative Unions produce and distribute life’s essential goods and services while cultivating “wealth-in-common” material security as foundations for ecologically sustainable societies.
These seven Eco-Social Stewardship Practices provide a broad foundation for understanding how stewardship can be developed and expressed through everyday diet and lifestyle choices, personal development, relationships, associations, co-living and economic activity.
The Eco-Social Stewardship Program provides the pathway for exploring these principles in greater depth, developing the knowledge and practical skills needed to understand their significance and begin applying them with greater intention.
If these principles speak to the kind of society you would like to help cultivate, we invite you to explore the Eco-Social Stewardship Program and consider beginning your Stewardship journey.
